Macildowie Recruitment & Retention - Data, BI & MI Analytics
Senior Data / BI Lead - Up to £48,000 - Leicester
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Permanent
Macildowie Data Analytics has recently collaborated with a family owned manufacturing organization to recruit a Senior Data / BI Lead to join their growing Data & BI function.
The key objective is to build and grow positive relationships with internal stakeholders to create user-engaging BI/MI through Excel and PowerBI, reporting on supply chain and logistics trend analysis.
Main Responsibilities

  • Extracting data from Microsoft Dynamics whilst partnering and cooperating with the supply chain team to identify trends create new purposeful BI/MI supply chain, stock levels and logistics dashboards for the wider group of stakeholders on a weekly, monthly basis using Excel or PowerBI.
  • Confidently collaborating with internal stakeholders to construct appropriate value-adding commentary ensuring that the BI/MI you're reporting is user engaging and tells a story.
  • Responsible for measuring forecasted vs actual sales as well as completing fortnightly S&OP reviews.
  • Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.
  • Cooperating with stakeholders to provide appropriate value-adding commentary helping our client identify gaps and explore.
  • Supporting and developing another Data Analyst in your team.
  • Identify opportunities to automate data processes and implement data quality control measures.


The Candidate

  • Previous experience operating as a Senior Data / BI Analyst, BI Developer, BI Analyst, MI Analyst, Data Analyst or in a similar position.
  • A demonstrated Data / BI background in either FMCG, Food Production or Supply Chain organisations.
  • Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards with appropriate value-adding commentary.Proficient in using data reporting tools such PowerBI including DAX and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to commute to Leicester.
