Meraki Talent is assisting a leading London based insurance firm to find a Senior Data Engineer to join their data management team.

Responsibilities
- Develop robust tools to automate the onboarding of data into systems
- Design and implement automated ETL pipelines to streamline the movement and transformation of data within our systems
- Develop Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization
- Ensure data is made available and accessible for Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities
- Mentor and upskill the data team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to foster their professional growth
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organisation
Skills
- Extensive experience in Data Engineering, with a deep understanding of data architectures and data management principles
- Advanced proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, and SQL
- Strong experience developing automated ETL pipelines and data integration techniques
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) systems
- Familiarity with data science workloads and techniques is a plus
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven experience in mentoring and upskilling team members, with strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and industry trends
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and optimization
