You Are:

A Senior Data Engineering Lead with responsibility for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, as well as leading a team of data engineers.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data Engineering capabilities, ensuring data quality, and driving data-driven decisions across customer enterprises.

The Opportunity:

· Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and data warehouses to efficiently collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various customer provided data sources

· Establish and enforce data quality standards and data governance policies to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and security of our data.

· Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data pipelines and systems to ensure maximum efficiency and responsiveness.

· Lead and manage a team of data engineers, provide mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

· Oversee end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Data Engineering projects

· Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver Data Engineering solutions that meet their needs

· Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance our Data Engineering capabilities and drive innovation.

· Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

· Troubleshoot and resolve Data Engineering issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure data continuity

· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Data Engineering projects, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

· Stay updated with the latest Data Engineering trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Data Engineering initiatives with overall business objectives.

What you need:

· Proven experience (10+ years) in Data Engineering, data architecture, with a track record of leading successful Data Engineering projects

· Strong expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes.

· Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and familiarity with related services such as S3, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.

· Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database technologies (relational and NoSQL databases)

· Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security practices.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

· Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
