SENIOR DATA GOVERNANCE ANALYST

£70,000 - £80,000

LONDON (HYBRID)

This role is with a well-established, specialist insurance firm that is setting up a modern data capability and centre of excellence. They are growing their Data Governance team and hiring a senior-level Data Governance Analyst.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will join a small, growing team of Data Governance professionals and work closely with senior stakeholders to accelerate their data quality processes and systems.

This role will involve:

• Working closely with the Data Council to improve their Data Governance education.
• Understanding the critical data elements within the business.
• Writing SQL queries and building data quality rules.
• Gathering Glossary definitions and lineage.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Commercial experience using SQL to write queries.
• Experience of building a business glossary and data catalog.
• Previous experience in documenting data lineage using Data Governance tooling.
• Insurance experience is preferable.
• Strong stakeholder management experience and communication skills.

THE BENEFITS:

The selected candidate will receive a salary between £70,000 - £80,000 depending on their experience and requirements.
