Location: Stockport/Hybrid (2 days On-site per week)

Salary: Up to GBP45,000

Role Overview:
In this position as the Senior Data & Insights Analyst, you will operate as the maestro behind MI, Reporting, and Analytics across the business, wielding data to orchestrate Real Time sales channel insights.

Your mission? Unleash dedicated analytical expertise, collaborating closely with Digital, Lead Generation, and Telesales professionals. Picture this: you'll craft and manage a number of operational reports, and your expertise will shine in deep-dive analysis spanning resource productivity, Real Time adherence tracking, marketing and sales campaign prowess, and commercial metrics. As Senior Data & Insights Analyst, you'll have the following Responsibilities:

  • Develop Power BI reports for direct distribution and contribute to the migration from Excel to Power BI.
  • Build clean data-sets across diverse data sources, facilitating dashboard creation and analysis.
  • Assume a senior role within the team, addressing data-related challenges and technical issues.
  • Lead relationship management with the Data Information and Services team, ensuring timely resolution of data-related tickets and changes.
  • Support the analytics team's self-serve and automation strategy.
  • Challenge the "Status Quo" continually, seeking more efficient ways to drive operational progress.
  • Assist operational stakeholders in gathering requirements and translating operational needs into technical specifications.
  • Improve the utilisation of data assets, striving for standardisation and increased reporting efficiency.
  • Proactively review data and dashboards, highlighting areas of concern to relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate high responsiveness in identifying performance issues or improvement opportunities, working urgently and diligently to implement robust solutions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in T-SQL for data querying and transformation.
  • Profound understanding of relational database architecture and querying methodologies.
  • Experienced of handling and amalgamating diverse data-sets from various sources.
  • Extensive experience in creating reports using Power BI and proficiency in utilising DAX.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape.
  • Capability to interpret complex statistical information effectively.
  • Possess professional maturity, with the ability to operate seamlessly with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, adept at prioritising activities, and meeting deadlines/targets.
  • Openness to direction with a cooperative work style and a commitment to task completion.
  • Passion for coaching and teaching, with a willingness to share knowledge and skills.
  • Strong ability to challenge and debate issues, positively challenging assumptions.
