Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of our client's Data Platform, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data solutions
• Build and optimise data pipelines, ensuring the smooth flow of data from various sources
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making
• Implement and improve ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for enhancing our client's Data Platform

Desired Skills:

• Extensive experience in the development and maintenance of Data Platforms and pipelines
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Expertise in working with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS
• Sound knowledge of data modelling and querying languages such as SQL
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
• Experience with containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
