This is your opportunity to work for a multi award winning Field Marketing Agency – Field Sales Solutions. We work in partnership with some of the biggest, most exciting brands out there.

In return for joining us as a Senior Database Developer, we can offer you a competitive salary of £45,000 up to £50,000 p.a. (dependant on experience) + benefits.

Location: Hybrid working - 1 day per week attendance required at Head Office (Thame, Oxfordshire) , 4 days WFH.

The Senior Database Developer will be part of the Business Intelligence team made up of Data Managers, BI Developers and Database Administrators.

As a Senior Database Developer with a focus on creativity and lateral thinking, you will play a critical role in shaping our data infrastructure and driving innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and data pipelines to support our data warehousing initiatives. Your expertise will help us extract meaningful insights from our data, contributing to informed decision-making.

What will you be doing as our Senior Database Developer?

• Design, build and management of dimensionally-modelled data warehouse solutions
• Design and development of data ETL routines
• Investigate code and data issues to determine the root cause and implement fixes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data validation and testing.
• lateral thinking and creativity to find innovative solutions and tackle complex data-related challenges.
• Maintain thorough documentation of SQL code, data models, and data processes.

What are we looking for in our Senior Database Developer?

• Hands-on experience developing data warehouse and ETL solutions.
• Experience of Kimball data modelling techniques.
• Creativity and lateral thinking skills with a passion for solving complex data problems.
• Strong skills with T-SQL, SSIS
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and document technical solutions.
• Visual Studio (SSIS/SSRS/
• Azure Services (SQL Server/SQL Database/ Data Factory/ Data Lake/ Storage)
