Senior Database Reliability Engineer / Senior Sql Dba

Would you like to lead a small but critical team within a market leading Scottish based company?

Are you interested in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of database systems?

As the Senior / Lead in the Database Reliability Engineering team you will play a key part in expanding their cloud database systems (azure).

You will lead in the management of the on prem SQL estate, ensuring high availability, reliability and performance across the estate.

Collaborating with cross functional teams you will contribute to database design and planned migrations. You will create and implement a backup, restore and failover strategies.

From a technical perspective, deep knowledge in SQL Server and managing a SQL server estate is imperative with hands on experience with cloud based databases.

The HQ is based in Glasgow with the expectation of being onsite 1 day per week.

In return you will get an opportunity to shape and drive the movement to the cloud. You will receive a base salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum + bonus and other benefits.
