Description

  • To provide insight and development of the Raiser's Edge database
  • The role holder will demonstrate a depth and breadth of experience that will make them the technical expert within the team - making and the authority on the Raiser's Edge system, data analysis and data management processes and procedures
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures and protocols to streamline and guide data entry and fulfilment
  • As the expert within team on the Raiser's Edge system and our data management needs they will input professionally and technically to assist with the decision making process for Office's long term data management and web presence needs
  • Responsible for investigations in to the collection of data from a number of sources, including working with other members of Office to identify potential new sources of data
  • Work to find new effective and efficient data storage processes and procedures and work with other teams across the University to develop these as strategies
  • Help to develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance with GDPR and PECR
  • Developing systems and metrics to inform prospect identification and alumni engagement tracking
  • To have overall responsibility for the day to day operation of the Raiser's Edge database.
  • Importing new datasets
  • Managing the submission of full and accurate data working closely with other teams. .
  • Ensuring integrity and accuracy of the data managed
  • Building queries to enable and record information
  • Devising complex and nuanced data segments Raiser's Edge e.g. e-comms, magazine and donor newsletter, direct mail campaigns, telephone and major gift fundraising campaigns or events
  • Ensuring security and backup of data, and compliance with the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act
  • Developing and maintaining processes to aid prospect identification and tracking in conjunction with the Prospect Market Intelligence Analyst
  • Responsible for maintaining the systems used for reconciliation of donation income with university financial systems
