Senior Design Engineer

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electro / Mechanical Engineer to join a vibrant engineering company experiencing a period of significant growth.

You will work with a team of mechanical Design Engineers in the design and development of innovative electro-mechanical solutions including mechanical systems, components, and products such as fittings, and fixtures, power transfer systems, and ancillary equipment.

The role is ideal for a technically strong and experienced Senior Engineer with a history of developing innovative solutions to a range of electro-mechanical issues.

The role is offered with a salary of £60 - 80K.

On joining the company, you will take a lead on a number of significant projects as well as R&D programs. You will be working at a purpose-built technology hub with fantastic working conditions and facilities.

Your role will include:

• Leading the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products such as fittings, and fixtures, power transfer systems, and ancillary equipment, considering factors such as functionality, safety, and manufacturability.
• Leading research and analysis to solve engineering problems and optimise designs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• A Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CEng) status (ideally)
• Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and proven ability to lead the development of mechanical design projects.
