Location: Elgin/Stirling

Your new role:

To deliver an efficient Timber Frame design service that enables effective fabrication and construction of timber structural frames. To ensure that all working processes and practices are undertaken safely, efficiently and in accordance with the company’s management systems and procedures.

The Senior Design Technician will be responsible for their own projects demonstrating the values and culture of the company. They will;

Be able to project manage & coordinate design information through the design process from concept to completion.
Work to an agreed Preconstruction program along with monitoring design costs & durations as agreed at the outset.
To produce accurate Timber frame drawings & schedules for both construction & manufacture using Auto Cad & consultec software.
Be able to work on a wide variety of projects varying from housing to commercial projects, including education & health care buildings, hotels & closed panel projects.
Actively assist with the mentoring & support of the design department, by encouraging, checking for over seeing trainees as & when required.
Ensure the awareness and implementation of and compliance with the Quality, Health & Safety and Human Resource Policies and Procedures, with any doubts being raised with your Direct Line Manager.
