An opportunity has arisen for Senior Development Engineer to join rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Reporting to the Head of Electrical Product, you will be supporting the full life cycle of WAE's electrical products, covering high power DCDC power systems, EV traction battery systems and electronic control units. The fast pace of WAE projects will also require support in challenging time frames and across a variety of industry sectors.
Job role:
Analysis and design of electronic systems
Mentoring junior team members and providing technical solutions
Development and test of power electronics (DCDC converters, 3ph inverters)
Firmware development in C /VHDL or python
Input into full product life cycle
Providing inputs regarding design for manufacture & electromechanical integration
Testing and operating high voltage test equipment.
You'll have:
Extensive industrial experience, post graduate with electronics / mechatronics degree or equivalent.
Capable of Designing Analog / digital hardware, schematic capture in Cadence / Altium or similar
Experience of electronics test and manufacture

This role will include working at head office in grove until an office move to Kidlington in spring 2024.
