Job Title: Development Senior Engineer
Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Development Senior Engineer in Gillingham, Kent. In this role, you will provide support for the design and development activities, manufacturing, and aftermarket support of a diverse range of diesel fuel injection and exhaust treatment products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop components for diesel fuel injection systems.
- Conduct tests and analysis on fuel injection equipment rigs, engines, and vehicles.
- Participate in design and development reviews at various project stages.
- Prepare reports and present results to both internal and external audiences.
- Manage procurement and testing of sample hardware for project requirements.
- Analyze customer and legislative test requirements to formulate cost-effective solutions.
- Create and execute simulation models.
- Develop test equipment and instrumentation.
- Interpret test data, synthesize results, and generate reports.
- Gain exposure to high precision manufacturing technologies used in advanced prototypes.
- Define and implement test plans to provide feedback for the development process.
- Assess designs using established DFMEA methods to ensure product robustness.
- Contribute to project reviews and product development.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in DFMEA methodology.
- Familiarity with rig test instrumentation and operation.
- Experience in data acquisition and post-processing.
- Desirable: Previous involvement in design and development throughout the entire product life cycle, including concept, volume manufacturing, and service stages.
- Knowledge of reliability assessment and accelerated/aggravated test development, including correlation to customer environment/duty cycle.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering or business discipline.

- Software skills in management operating system software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of business requirements to support operational and supply chain management.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
