- To personally manage an assigned portfolio of potential donors, nurture strong relationships with new and existing donors, implement donor-specific strategies for cultivation, and negotiate, secure and close philanthropic gifts.
- Work to agreed activity and financial targets.
- Experience of fundraising with a track record in Mid - Major Gift fundraising, managing prospects and key relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of using a wide range of communication techniques including face-to-face, telephone, online and informal presentations.
- Ability to initiate and develop relationships with a variety of different people
- Commitment to fundraising and a willingness to take the lead in the development of campaigns and asking for financial support.
