Job Purpose:

Enhancing the software development and deployment processes with DevOps capabilities. Automate and accelerate the testing, release and deployment of automotive software applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as code, and automation to enhance software development and deployment efficiency for automotive (Motion Control) software delivery.
  • Deploy, maintain, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/AZURE) to support Automotive software development and delivery.
  • Find scope for automation with the project /automate regular manual tasks.
  • Create and manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or similar tools.
  • Write scripts and automation code (e.g., Python, Shell, YAML) to simplify repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Configuration management.
  • Undertake installation on development, test, and operation environment on cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/AZURE) considering secure networking.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong experience in technologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Cloud AWS/Azure infrastructure & services (e.g. VM, Networking, Gateways, Access management, DB), Ansible, Terraform, Virtual Network, Azure Artifacts/JFrog Artifactory and Docker.
  • Strong experience in programming/scripting (Python, Bash/Shell, YAML, Groovy/Java).
  • Proven experience in managing Cloud computing platforms AWS/ Azure (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Have solid understanding of Network protocols, security, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Embedded software development /Automotive AUTOSAR software would be a plus.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with software development in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in implementing DevOps/CI-CD.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Certified DevOps Engineer/Architect, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.
