Senior DevOps Engineer – HYBRID
Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to guide team members. Advising clients on technology solutions through innovative automation approaches. Ensuring software standards, mentoring junior staff, and defining processes for reusability. Implementing secure, scalable solutions and introducing new concepts to the team.
Primary Skills
- Configuration management: Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Chef.
- Build and provisioning tools: Jenkins (preferred), Terraform, Packer, Team City.
- Cloud and hosting: AWS, Azure, bare-metal, Virtual hosting.
- Testing: Test Driven or Behaviour Driven development, automated test solutions.
- Integration: API-driven approach for cohesive automation.
- Monitoring: ELK, Nagios, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk.
- Container hosting: Docker, Kubernetes, RedShift.
- Programming languages: Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, C, C++, Java, PowerShell.
- Agile collaboration, continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a pragmatic work attitude.
