SalaryLooking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-growth ecommerce company based in the South West. This is a serious opportunity for a DevOps engineer looking to take ownership of cloud infrastructure and automation across multiple projects.
The Role:
As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll work closely with development teams to streamline workflows, improve system reliability, and ensure seamless deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS/GCP services
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate with developers to containerise applications using Kubernetes
- Optimise system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive monitoring
- Mentor and guide a team of 2 junior DevOps engineers
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency with AWS/GCP cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Expertise in Python and scripting languages
- Solid understanding of containerisation, virtualisation, and cloud security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
