SalaryI am currently working with an East Midlands-based LPA who are looking for Senior Planning Officer to join their dedicated team on a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities: As a Senior Planning Officer, you will be responsible for managing minor and smaller major planning applications. Reporting to the Development Manager, your key duties will include:
- Reviewing and processing planning applications efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Providing expert advice to developers, architects, and the public on planning matters.
- Conducting site visits and assessments to inform decision-making.
- Preparing reports and recommendations for Planning Committees.
- Collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders, and external agencies.
This is a hybrid working role, allowing you the flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the week. However, ideally you will be required to be in the office 1-2 a week.
Salary: The rate will be up to £45/hr, depending on experience but the client is open to suggestions.
