Job description
We are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to work in our small friendly team as third in charge. The role will involve assisting the Manager and Deputy in the running of our small but busy setting caring for children aged 2-5yr olds.
The ideal candidate will work in partnership with the Nursery Manager and Deputy to implement the nursery curriculum and deputise in their absence. You will be committed to providing excellent standards or care, education and customer service. You must be a hands on and dynamic individual as the role involves working directly with the children on a daily basis.
Strong leadership skills are essential and previous experience of running a team is an advantage.
Duties
Support the day to day running of the Nursery alongside the Manager and Deputy. Meeting the needs of up to 30 children per day.
Support the leadership and management of a small team to achieve excellent results.
Create and maintain a safe, secure and magical environment for the children.
Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
Contribute to and implement the nursery policies.
Ensure all legal and statutory obligations are met.
Support and develop excellent parent partnerships.
Set an exemplary example to your team.
Qualifications
Minimum of Level 3 in Early Years
Hours of Work
30 - 40 hours between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday - Friday
