Job description

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Early Years Practitioner who will help other Senior Early Years Practitioners to undertake the day-to-day running of their designated room: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Practitioners and helping to ensure that their jobs are done to the highest possible standard, to model good practice and be someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate others in a team environment. As a key person you will be required to help plan activities and experiences for the children based on their needs and interests, you will help to keep children’s records and oversee those of their team to ensure quality. To safeguard that all policies and procedures within the nursery are adhered to, including that effective health and safety procedures are carried out in the room and the outside environment. About YouThe successful candidate must have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Foundation Degree Early Years, BA in Education Studies Early Years Educator Specialised Award experience of working within a senior nursery position, experience as a Room Leader or Acting Room Leader, in addition to a good knowledge of the EYFS.
