SalaryMy client based on the outskirts of Bath are in the scientific sector and are looking for a permanent Senior Editor to join their Editorial team. This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days in the office, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
The Senior Editor will be reporting into the Head of Editorial and will be leading on all content and editorial elements in the field of pharmaceuticals and applied sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for the pharma and applied science strategy working closely with different teams across the business, researching and keeping up to date on all pharmaceutical and applied sciences advances and developments. Building out a contact network of scientists and manufacturers and focusing on continually building out the audience and membership you will ensuring all content output, performance and engagement is in line with agreed KPI's.
The Senior Editor will also manage the pharma and applied sciences events calendar, managing event attendance and developing media partnerships, as well as establishing a social media programme for the field managing engagement, content output and performance.
For this role you must have experience in creating digital content as part of an editorial team, possess strong commercial acumen and have experience of marketing platforms, for example, HubSpot, CMS, Vimeo, Echobox, GA4, PowerBI etc
