The Digital Education Team works across the University to promote the effective use of digital technologies that enhance academic practice and the student experience. Are you passionate about enhancing student learning experiences through technology and innovation? We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Educational Technologist to lead on innovation projects that will help shape the future of digital education here at Brunel. As our Senior Educational Technologist (Innovation), you will: Lead the design and implementation of new digital education platforms, tools, and methodologies. Conduct research to ahead of trends, identifying and integrating new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Project manage pilots, driving the successful execution of digital education initiatives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and effective budgeting. Line manage and work with a small team of digital content creators to produce online and blended learning resources. Evaluate the impact of innovations through user testing, data analysis and feedback mechanisms. Disseminate effective innovations across the institution and provide training to staff. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including academics, learning designers and IT services to foster a culture of digital excellence. Contribute to strategic planning around digital capabilities and learning technologies. To succeed in this position, you will have: Proven experience in digital education and learning technologies within a higher education setting. Strong project management and leadership capabilities. Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends. Experience of running user-focused projects, applying initiative across all aspects including problem-solving and stakeholder negotiation. Knowledge of learning technologies, pedagogy, and curriculum design. The ability to convey complex concepts clearly to varied audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and a passion for higher education.
