Senior Electrical Design Engineer

The Opportunity
Due to an increase in project wins, an exciting opportunity has opened to join a leading company who are at the forefront of shaping the nuclear, defence and new build sectors, providing you with the ability to make a real impact in the nuclear and defence sectors. The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will aid in the project scope delivery, by managing Electrical Designs and ensuring technical accuracy in a dynamic project environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Producing and maintaining design drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinating with team members for functional and efficient designs.
• Developing solutions for design and manufacturing challenges.
• Interfacing with customers and suppliers on design matters.
• Leading single discipline, low-risk design projects.
• Holding knowledge of current British and European design standards and working practices and ensuring these standards are maintained through out the design process.
• Familiarity with safety case development techniques E.G HAZID/HAZOP studies.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

• ONC/HNC/HND or BTEC National in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

It s great if you also have the following

• Working towards Eng Tech or Incorporated Engineer Level.
• Degree in electrical engineering.
• Chartered Engineer.
