Senior Electrical Engineer

NRL’s client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Renewable Hydrogen project within the Major Projects division. You'll lead Electrical Engineering tasks on Brownfield and Greenfield projects, focusing on FEED and EPC work. Responsibilities include overseeing technical aspects, resolving complex issues, reviewing project documents, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, participating in design reviews, planning engineering activities, supporting procurement, and ensuring quality compliance.

What You Will Need:

• BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in HV/LV electrical systems design and power distribution.
• Proficiency in cable sizing software (ETAP/AMTECH).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with British and international standards in the Process & Energy sector.
• Experience with construction and commissioning site activities.

Desirable:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
• Commercial contractual awareness.
