The Role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy. As aSenior Electrical Project Engineer, you will work closely alongside the project managers and other disciplines to ensure electrical work packages are of high quality and delivered on time and to budget. You’ll focus on ensuring successful project delivery and supporting the design and development of complex electrical systems.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of large complex remote handling systems over a variety of different projects within the RACE department.
  • Coordinate peers to prepare and review electrical schematics and BOMs for new prototype equipment and new operational equipment to be put into service.
  • Oversee and peer review high quality layout designs for equipment, design enclosures and panels from schematics.
  • Ensure quality of Electrical design work delivered for RACE projects and lead activities in TCS management and CE/UKCA marking compliance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or technology degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical system design and engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver electrical engineering projects and managing work packages.
