As the Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for effective project management and delivery across a diverse range of High Voltage Electrical Projects including liaison with clients, consultants, and their representatives.
Responsibilities Senior Electrical Project Engineer:
- Produce project construction programmes and manage activities to the construction programme
- Attend site project progress, coordination meetings and undertake inspections / audits of site works to monitor quality and progress
- Manage commercial aspects of projects in line with budgets and forecasting budgets for financial reporting

- Management of internal and external resource to ensure project goals and customer expectations are met
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and supply chain partners
- Manage in-house design and engineering teams to generate equipment layouts, designs, cable schedules, testing, and commissioning procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and manufactures on design, installation, and commissioning
- Obtain competitive tenders from the supply chain and purchase procurement for project
Criteria for the Senior Electrical Project Engineer:
- 3+ years’ experience of electrical engineering within the electrical contracting or utility industries
- Experience managing projects in a similar industry
- Able to assess and identify compliance shortfalls or engineering opportunities within designs
- HND or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work within the UK without limitation
