As my client'sSenior Electrical Supervisor will head up the overall running of an electrical contract for a local authority in East London.

MY CLIENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER SUITABLE CANDIDATES LIVING IN HACKNEY OR WITHIN A 30 MIN COMMUTE FROM CENTRAL HACKNEY & YOU MUST HOLD A VALID FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE!!

As a Senior Elctrical Supervisor you will be directly responsible for the delivery of electrical work via the effective management of a small team of directly employed electricians & electrical improvers.

Your responsibilities will be varied as detailed below to ensure the efficient running of the department and to comply with the mandatory NICEIC requirements.

• Managing WIP reports so each job in the department has a projected completion date
• Carry out electrical surveys in advance of work being carried out to ascertain the labour and materials required for each job
• Monthly revenue forecasting
• Preparation and valuation of invoicing applications created from an agreed schedule of rates
• Identification and notification of variations
• Negotiation of subcontractor works if required
• Ensure all paperwork associated with the previous weeks work has been completed and passed over to the administration team
• Management of small stores/lock up in Hackney to ensure stock is accounted for and booked out to jobs in a timely manner
• Implement and maintain company policy on Health & Safety
• Responsibility for complying with and implementing the Q&E management system within their area of activity
• Any other relevant duties as appropriate to the role as assigned by line manager

To become my client's next Senior Electrical Supervisor you will need the following expereince:

Essential:

• Extensive experience of electrical installations
• Must be a fully qualified 18th edition electrician
• Must have City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing cert
• Must have hands on experience of electrical inspection and testing
• Experience of the Health & Safety requirements associated with the quoted works
• Translating experience and knowledge of electrical systems to assist with the quoting process
• Competent IT skills (including Outlook, Excel & Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Fire Alarm system knowledge

Please Note:

• This role will require the holder to undergo and pass a DBS check
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6-points

The role is paying a basic salary of between £45000 and £48000 plus a works vehicle, uniform, pension scheme, paid holidays and generous overtime rates.
