Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the Dundee area.

Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)

Salary: £48K – £64K

Daily Duties –

• Design, develop and test embedded microprocessor and microcontroller-based PCB assemblies
• Digital and Analogue electronics design
• Regular progress reporting on schedule, quality, and size of change
• Soldering proficiency with SMT components
• Create test specifications and reports
• Lead team and mentoring Junior Engineers

Candidate Requirements –

• Degree qualified
• 10 years’ experience developing MCU based products e.g. control systems, office machine, medical devices, and various other embedded systems
• Previous experience with embedded microprocessors and microcontrollers PCB assemblies
• Can lead a team to develop products and deliver within time and budget constraints
• Driving Licence
