Hexwired Recruitment is in search of an exceptionally skilled and deeply knowledgeable Senior Electronic Engineer to join a pioneering electronics manufacturer, focused on comprehensive design, development, and production of life-saving technology.
The Senior Electronics Engineer is accountable for the design of electronics and firmware for products, managing the entire process from concept to production while considering requirements, timelines, cost, and regulatory constraints.
Key skills required for this Senior Electronic Engineer Job:
- Attained a 2:1 degree or higher.
- Possess experience in digital and analogue design.
- Proficient in embedded programming using 'C’, VHDL, and FPGA.
- Advantageous to have skills in C++, .net, C#, Java, Python, or algorithm development.
- Preferably, have practical experience in a Design House or R&D department through work placements.
- Familiarity with CAD for schematic capture and PCB layout, with a preference for Altium.
- Demonstrates a can-do attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to undertake tasks as required for the project.
- Capable of client interaction with good presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to take on additional system elements within a project, such as thermals and optics, is advantageous.
- Ideally, possess 5 or more years of design experience; however, outstanding candidates with less experience will be considered if exceptional abilities can be demonstrated.
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about contributing to the evolution of the R&D department.
The salary for this position of Senior Electronic Engineer is £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
