We are currently looking for a Senior Embroidery Machine Operative to join our well-established client in Swindon on a permanent basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To prepare components for the embroidery process.
To operate, monitor and adjust Embroidery Machinery as required.
Assist Leaders with the coordination of embroidery activities.
Perform embroidery operations and procedures in compliance with approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
Operate automatic and semi-automatic high volume embroidery equipment
Train, mentor and supervise new starters and/or temporary staff as required.
Carry out maintenance on embroidery equipment
Perform routine SAP transactions.
Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different departments of the business
SKILLS:
Previous experience in a similar role and environment - Essential
Hand/eye coordination.
Willingness to learn and absorb information and knowledge relating to the products.
The ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team.
Must be physically fit to undertake various manual handling tasks
WORKING HOURS:
07:30-16:00 - Monday-Friday
