This Watford area based Senior Energy Consultant post is a bit special.
In fact, it's very special.
You'll be working on properties which are national treasures as part of the Crown Estate, for NHS Trusts and on a range of frameworks providing new build and upgraded schools plus very high end retirement villages all with a focus on sustainability.
In this Senior Energy Consultant role you'll be working on projects from the early stages where you can set up the strategy and hone it through working with the client, the design team and other design partners.
As you would expect you'll be working on a mix of new build, refurb and extension schemes while the nature of the buildings means that you'll be using a range of skills to make the most of a clean sheet, or improve the energy use of a highly sensitive building in an innovative but discreet way.
The practice has a proud and well earned reputation for sustainability while being based on the outskirts of London, (Watford/Berkhamsted/Amersham area), gives you the opportunity to enjoy hybrid working and not having to go into the city.
You must have worked as an Energy Consultant or Senior Energy Consultant on building services projects for at least three (3) years working with UK design regulations and standards.
Ideally you will be Chartered or actively working towards it, but as a minimum you will need to be degree qualified and familiar with using TAS, but the practice is looking to move to IES so you will benefit from exposure to both systems.
