Help us create a better future, quicker
During RIIO-ED2, SP Energy Networks are relying more than ever on new and innovative alternatives to traditional network solutions - this means we must think creatively about how we can use commercial solutions to solve network challenges, as well as innovative technical solutions, and about new ways to set up and manage our commercial and contractual relationships.
We will be contracting with customers to adjust their demand and generation flexibly within network design limits; we will be working hand-in-hand with local authorities and government to optimise energy and electricity infrastructure alongside local community planning; and we will be applying new affordable connection charging regimes to enable societies transition to Net Zero at least cost. And we must do all of this whilst protecting SPENs customers' and shareholders' interests - with sharp commercial acuity and a thorough understanding of the risks and opportunities of entering new and novel commercial arrangements.
You will be at the centre of this journey, leading and shaping our new strategies, policies and processes, systems, and people to ensure we succeed on behalf of our customers and shareholders.
