Senior Engineer - 2 Year Contract - Manchester
The Company & Project:
We are working with a large, forward thinking, award winning main contractor who are well known for delivering first class projects. This project is a large new build residential project consisting of two towers up-to 15 stories. The project will include some smaller outlets with a total of 250 apartments.
You will need to have experience on RC Frames, large ground works packages, temporary works and ideally high-rise new build developments.
The Senior Engineer Role:
The engineer will provide civil, structural and architectural work scope on a large new build project consisting of earthworks, 278 works, bolts, frames and more for the duration of the 2 year build.
The Engineer will also control aspects of the temporary works as well as manage sub-contractor engineers and works. They will be the lead the engineering works, setting out and other aspects working to the detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.
Experience required for the engineer role:
* Over 5 years working on RC Frames
* Experienced working on projects valued over £30m for a main contractor
* Experience as a Project engineering covering civil, structural and architectural works.
* Strong ability to read designs and drawings
* Experience on new build projects
* Strong knowledge of earthworks
