If so, apply for our Manufacturing Technology Engineer role! In this position, you'll collaborate with business partners to help innovate, implement and optimise equipment and process technologies, facilitating new product development, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop new manufacturing technologies that realise value for Cytiva’s Filtration business, from initial concept through to implementation in full-scale production.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand the core value drivers, identify opportunities for improvements and develop innovative solutions to complex manufacturing problems.

  • Create business cases to justify new Manufacturing Technology projects and lead cross-functional teams to execute and deliver these.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for individuals and teams, via own expertise in tools and techniques for development of manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • Contribute to the Manufacturing Technology roadmap via research and evaluation of state-of-the-art, industry trends and emerging technologies.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering.

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience including roles of increasing responsibility and senior leadership credentials.

  • Practical “hands-on” experience in the development and implementation of manufacturing technologies, including associated processes and equipment, with application in full-scale production.

  • Recognised certification in lean and six-sigma tools, obtained via demonstration of problem solving and significant improvements in manufacturing applications.

  • Skilled and qualified in project management, proven via application to development of Manufacturing Technology and multiple projects.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Manufacturing for biotechnology, pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry. Knowledge of associated quality management systems and regulatory standards would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of procedures associated with the management of change in a regulated environment and, specifically, validation of manufacturing methods and equipment.

  • Research and development, including technology scouting and the technology development process.
