Yolk recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to work with a cutting-edge aerospace client.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver the clients most complex and priority projects to time, cost and quality; to drive the design, development and delivery of our highly complex electronic sub-systems, from concept through into full production.

Experience within Electronics Development area will be key to this role.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving key Engineering Projects for our defence client. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, adhering to timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic project plans, aligning with organizational objectives and contributing to the overall success of our client's defence initiatives.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and project progression.

Core Skills:

• Proven Experience: A robust background as an Engineering Project Manager, with a successful track record in managing defence-related projects.
• SAP Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in using SAP for project management, ensuring efficient and integrated processes.
• Management or lead of Electronics units/systems development.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards project success.

Desirable Skills:

• Hold a current SC security clearance.
