Company & Project: An established and successful Main Contractor operating in the Mixed-Use, Leisure, Commercial and Education sectors, are seeking to recruit an experienced and effective Senior Estimator with extensive Main Contracting experience, to complement their business based in Cambridge.
Our client has secured a number of key projects in 2024. They are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team to focus on their busy tender pipeline.

The business has an established pre-construction team with long-standing employees.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of single and 2-stage tenders in the main under JCT D&B forms of contract and typically £10m - £20m in value. There are a large number of tenders from a pre-existing frameworks in addition to selective tender.
You will produce BOQ's, take offs, full cost plans and target cost reporting with occasional pre con surveying duties including deed of appointment and procurement.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working as a Senior Estimator with Main Contractors on projects c£10m+.
- 10 years+ experience with main contractors in pure Estimating roles.
- Good track record of winning work.
- Sector experience must include New Build and/or Refurbishment projects.
- Previous Roles: Estimator OR Senior Estimator OR Pre-Construction Surveyor OR Principal Estimator OR Construction Estimator.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or HND/HNC in a Construction related subject. Conquest software experience preferable.
