Your new company
Our client are a dynamic and entrepreneurial main contractor who having established themselves within the Scottish Construction market are seeking to appoint a well connected Senior Estimator /Estimating lead to their leadership group and play a key role in this businesses growth over the next 5 years.
Your new role
As Estimating lead you will be directly responsible for securing a sustainable pipeline of work for this growing and exciting business. Working with the directors you will be responsible for developing our clients brand amongst the supply chain in their sector and ensuring they can compile project winning tenders. Our clients sector is focused very much on privately funded high end complex high end refurbishment projects so exposure to this space previously would be well regarded. As Estimating lead you will get exposed to the senior leadership group and have the opportunity to really shape and develop our clients estimating function and strategy over the next few years.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Our client are seeking an ambitious ,competitive and dynamic estimating professional who has a strong track record working for a local main contractor in Scotland. You have deep expertise of the supply chain and their capabilities and can utilise your influencing and commercial skillset to produce winning tenders. You perhaps are currently working as an estimator or Senior Estimator but are looking to develop your role beyond tendering to getting involved in more senior elements of winning work and procurement. This will suit an ambitious construction professional who is looking to develop their profile in the market and play a key role in the success of a growing and dynamic business. You will be working with like minded individuals committed to the same and can all demonstrate tier 1 or tier 2 expertise in construction.
