The company:

You will be working for a contractor that is based in West Sussex. They work on projects with values of up to £20m. They are an experienced contractor who have completed projects in most sectors within the industry. These sectors include education, heritage, commercial, residential, health-care and extensions. They have experience in many forms of contract. These include, traditional, design & build, negotiated and 2 stage.

The role:

In this role you will be reporting into the Preconstruction Director and working within the preconstruction team. This role will involve reviewing and evaluating tender and quotation enquiries received from clients, this will need to be carried out effectively in order to maximise the overall opportunity and be sure to highlight any risks. You will be involved in tender meetings, producing detailed bills of quantities from tender documents, site surveys and drawings when needed. You will also be involved in finalising tender reports. You will be expected to attend mid and post tender interviews in addition to meetings with the Construction Manager and delivery team to present and handover all necessary information.

The benefits:

This role will come with a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 . Aside from the monetary benefits, you will benefit from working for an established contractor with a great reputation along with experience in many sectors within the industry. Leaving plenty of room for career progression.
