AddressExcellent opportunity to join a leading Refurbishment and Restoration company working on interesting schemes within historic and conservation sectors. Projects include : universities, schools, churches, museums, offices and residential schemes.
Values upto £30m.
Based from their offices near Victoria in London with some hybrid working available.
The role
- To lead the financial elements on single stage and negotiated tenders from the initial cost plan through to the financial close.
- To steer design teams towards affordable solutions.
- To engage with our supply chain to ensure costs are robust and solutions are buildable.
- To provide regular cost updates to the client’s surveying team and finalize negotiations prior to entering into a contract.
Criteria
- Have experience with various construction methods
- Experience in controlling costs, timing and quality in line with targets
- Experience in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications
- Good standard of mathematical ability
- Relevant degree (desirable)
- Use of Conquest Estimating System or similar (desirable
