York Museums Trust is building its events programme, sometimes working with partners, sometimes creating and operating our own events, and now seeks a talented, knowledgeable and experienced Senior Events Manager to curate and operate a programme.
The role will lead on a number of events for the Trust's trading arm and work with the Museum team on events related to our museum activities, such as the Roman Festival and Christmas on Kirkgate.
The role will work with clients from the first stages of event planning, through the operational details before ensuring that "it's alright on the night".
You'll have substantial experience of event planning, delivery and operations, with a track record of successfully delivering events large and small in scale and working indoors and outdoors.

Salary: £35,000 - £38,360 per annum fte
Contract: 37 hours a week to be worked flexibly to the need of events
