Contract: Senior F5 Network Architect

Duration: 3 months extendable
Rate: circa GBP550 - GBP595 a day (Deemed inside IR35 determination)
Location: Remote work (may require occasional travel to Slough if needed). Must be based in UK

Looking for an experienced F5 Network Architect to join a project to design, build-out and configurations of a new F5 implementation in Slough and Amsterdam Data Centers. YOU MUST have in-depth F5 Admin skills and have experience of migrations to the platform. Strong AS3 automation and knowledge of Netscaler.
All deployments in GTM and LTM are being done with AS3 (Autonmation tool chain), so must have understanding and able to create and post the JSON configs which is a key element of the role. Also must have NetSCaler experience.
Architect will assist with the implementation and configuration of the virtual F5 devices in order to facilitate the new Data Center build-outs in 2 UK location and the application migration onto these new virtual appliances.
General

• Take current application URL's and resolve to IP addresses that can be referenced to NetScaler Virtual Servers
• Extract Netscaler configuration components and populate onboarding sheets to be used in completing F5 cli templates
• Populate the generic F5 cli templates with the Onboarding sheet information and impose the required naming convention to represent a complete application script to cut and paste into the f5 LTM.

Interim requirements:

• Work with existing health checks and convert to f5 format. (time permitting)
• Transfer or request certificates from internal processes for deployment to f5 LTM.
• Identify Outliers to the generalized template for deeper consideration.

If successful you will need to undertake a background screening reference check.
