In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of soft service, security, hard services, project management and metrology for your designated site/sites.
As a Senior Facilities Manager at Labcorp you will:
  • Work closely with our network of UK Senior Facilities Managers, local site leads and senior leadership to ensure consistency of deployment across the sites while supporting diverse business needs.
  • Develop and manage site CapEx projects ensuring alignment with local and regional strategic plans, which will include site maintenance, break fix and growth activities
  • Lead strategic/large facilities projects, ensuring proper planning, timely execution and respect of budges.
  • Drive and promote a strong culture of health and safety across all aspects of facilities management; drive sustainability initiatives within facilities team, actively engage with suppliers and partners in Labcorp sustainability strategy.
  • Lead local facilities service contract reviews, drive continuous service optimization and consistency, cost optimization and SLA definitions. Work in collaboration with sourcing partners to ensure appropriate level of resources are available to execute all aspects of facilities service delivery.
  • Develop facilities standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies & procedures.
  • Prepare annual facilities operational budgets and prioritise/manage spend against budget.
  • Perform other duties as required of the business.

What we need from you:
  • Extensive working experience within the Facilities industry
  • Supervisory experience in a facilities management role
  • Experience in service contract negotiation and implementation.
  • Technical/engineering background in mechanical, electrical or building services.
  • Budget management experience is essential and experience of financial systems and reporting.
  • Degree level preferred, but an HNC/HND Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent will be accepted if supported with relevant experience.
