SalaryOur client, a highly reputable legal 500 firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Family Solicitor to join their team. As a leading recruitment agency, we are excited to be working with such a prestigious and well-respected firm.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and driven Family Solicitor, with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in Family Law, confident working across all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients regarding their family law matters
- Managing a caseload of family law cases from start to finish, including drafting legal documents and attending court hearings
- Negotiating settlements and agreements for clients
- Providing mediation and dispute resolution services
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in family law regulations and case precedents
- Keeping clear and accurate records of cases and consultations
- Building and maintaining positive professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Assisting and supervising junior lawyers, paralegals and support staff
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in Family Law
- Strong understanding and knowledge of family law regulations and case law
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Experience in managing a caseload of Family Law cases, with a track record of delivering results for clients
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in supervising junior solicitors and legal support staff is desirable
