Senior Finance Business Partner

This is a fantastic not-for-profit organisation based in Scotland, which put improving the outcomes of the nation at the heart of its purpose. The organisation is evolving and has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will make a significant contribution to the organisation's corporate strategic planning and development. This role is varied, but you will build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams, managing a team responsible for the provision and development of the management accounting service for client portfolios. You will ensure best value decision-making and robust budgetary control by providing high quality professional financial support and advice to a range of stakeholders. You will evaluate the development needs of the finance team to ensure that the team provides "real time" support, analysis and financial advice which will add value and assist in decision-making across the organisation. In addition, you will provide leadership and work with L&D colleagues in developing financial management skills, and you will contribute to the overall management and continued improvement of the finance department.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and will have relevant technical experience, along with experience of managing a team. You will have budgetary management experience and will also be an excellent communicator with an ability to think strategically. In addition, you will have detailed knowledge of accountancy financial reporting standards.
