Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Private Equity Backed, rapidly growing business based in South Manchester who have created a new role to support the ongoing development of the business.
Through both organic, and acquisitive growth this organisation is continuing to provide the benchmark for quality of service and product in the industry. On the back of recent success, and an extension in their product line, the introduction of a Senior Finance Business Partner is essential to ensure Finance continues to provide essential support to varying stakeholders, contributing to the ongoing task of maximising the business performance.
The position will have a holistic view across the offerings within the business, with 2 direct reports having a more focused view on product lines. Consequently, having strong people management skills, excellent stakeholder management skills, and background in commercial finance is imperative to make this role a success.
I am looking to speak with people have several Post Qualified years of experience, having come through either the ACA (practice) or ACCA/ CIMA route, and stepped into a commercial position over the last c.3/4 years.
Based in a central location within South Manchester, offering an excellent hybrid working policy, including a 10% bonus and strong wider benefits, this will be a hugely popular role on the market and one not to be missed.

Salary: £60k-£70k

Responsibilities:
- Business Partner with the SLT to support decision making and contribute to the development of business strategy.
- Support stakeholders with business challenges as they are presented, finding financial solutions and influence the development of business strategy.
- Define and own the Business Partnering framework, implementing and embed a Business Partner model, with a focus on cost control.
- Drive financial performance improvement initiatives, collaborating across senior leaders to enhance cost control and operational efficiency.
- Budgeting and forecasting for future expectations of all overheads, with input into the financial planning model for long term.
- Support senior leaders with the development and ongoing reporting of an effective commercial strategy.
- Work in partnership with the People team in delivering the people agenda linked, supporting with people cost activity and providing financial support for organisational structure changes and cost saving initiatives.
- Ensure all team activity complies with all regulatory standards, GDPR and quality policies.
- Accountable for defining and improving the Finance Business Partnering teams’ processes and procedures.
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with post qualified experience in commercial finance.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Proven experience in a Business Partnering setting.
- Excellent leadership and management skillset.
- High level of organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
