Job Title: Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (Senior FP&A Specialist)

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

Location: Slough

Our corporate client is looking for a Senior FP&A Specialist who will be responsible for controlling, provisioning, budgeting and reporting activities within the Finance area of the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain reports and databases required to support the efficient and timely production of monthly management information
• Maintain and help develop the simulation models and systems used to profile business activity for risk provisioning as well as production of forecasts and annual budgets
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports
• Prepare monthly financial reporting pack
• Prepare detailed variance analysis of the actual performance of the business compared to budgets and forecasts
• Prepare monthly financial reports and investigations into controlling dimensions as required for management, control and forecasting purposes
• Perform monthly reconciliation of local operational and accounting data against head office data
• Work closely with internal departments to obtain detailed knowledge essential to all aspects of reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Adhere to the FCA regulations and requirements

Experience/Knowledge:

• Degree and membership of Professional Financial / Management Accounting body
• Strong financial / business analysis background supported by relevant experience
• Proficient in Windows applications including advanced Excel
• Experience of working with report generating software (such as Business Objects, SAP)
• Experience of working with financial analysis tools including NPV, ROI, ROA, variance analysis and cost / benefit analysis
