We're looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Senior Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the K Bar team at the University of Kent. As the Senior Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day running of the bar. You will be required to: Oversee, train, and guide the front-of-house team, leading by example. Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels. Assist the Food and Beverage Manager to create and implement innovative drink menus and special promotions. Work alongside student groups and societies to create a memorable student experience. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations. What we are looking for in the right candidate: Food Hygiene Certificate Experience of supervising bar and catering staff in a high-volume environment Excellent customer service skills Willingness to work flexibly Health and safety/risk assessment knowledge Experience of creating rotas and organising work schedules Knowledge and experience of EPOS and stock management systems Meet your team Your new role is part of Commercial Services where we provide student accommodation for over 6,500 students, housekeeping, catering, bar, reception, conference and events services across our Canterbury and Medway campuses.
