You’ll be the kind of leader who’s looking to develop yourself and your team. No two days are the same!
If this sounds like the role for you, we’d love to speak to you.

What you'll be doing

As Senior Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll provide leadership and support to the team at a very large and complex National Trust place, or group of smaller places, and its food and drink outlets. This will involve handling things behind the scenes: from administration to developing people, and everything in between.

It’s a busy, lively business and, as well as line-managing staff, you’ll be leading all aspects of the day-to-day running of our food and drink operations, leaving the team to get on with doing what they do best.

You’ll help to build a great place to work for your team. You’ll recruit and train versatile and hard-working people, and encourage high achievement by setting objectives and reviewing their performance. You might also be needed to support the wider property team from time to time.

You’ll set and achieve financial targets, take ownership of budgets, manage wages and control costs to improve profitability. You’’ll also ensure stock and waste are monitored and you’ll actively look for ways to increase income.

We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
