SalaryScience Solutions are currently working with a Pharmaceutical CDMO in the North East to recruit for a Senior Formulation Scientist responsible for leading full life cycle formulation acrtivities from concept/pre-formulation through to commercial scale manufacturing.
As a Senior Formulation Scientist you will be responsible for leading a team and providing technical support delivering projects to support Oral Solid Dose Formulation Development, Clinical Trials Manufacturing and Tech Transfers in a heavily regulated, cGMP accredited environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulation of new and existing Oral Solid Dose products as per project requirements
- Act as the primary technical contact for client communication
- Execute projects to support formulation development, tech transfer, scientific data analysis, registration batches or clinical trials manufacture.
- Supervise, coach and train other members of the formulation team
- Act as the primary SME for regulatory and customer audits, technical meetings and clinical trials manufacturing
Key Requirements
- PhD or equivalent industry experience is essential
- Significant experience in Pharmaceutical Formulation Development (ideally Oral Solid Dose)
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders verbally and electronically
- Experience in the development of Generics products is desirable
