Our client is looking for a Front-end Developer to join their growing team in Glasgow. This is a role which would be a fantastic opportunity for any experienced front-end developers who ready to take on a more senior role and can draw on their skills and experience to provide leadership and guidance amongst the team. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one, who will take ownership and responsibility for the design of solutions being developed for the company’s array of clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Work in the Engineering Team and play a key role in the team’s Front-End strategy and approach in line with wider project team.
- Be involved in the decision-making process and technical discussions surrounding up-coming projects.
- Aid the business team with the on-boarding of new business opportunities and ensure all the relevant documentation is completed effectively and properly.
- Provide effective mentorship for junior developers in the team and play an active role in their on-going development.
Looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in a similar role.
- Has demonstrable experience working first hand with some or all of the following core technologies: HTML5, SASS, ES6, JavaScript, React, Vue).
- Can effectively problem solve as well as juggle both working in a team whilst also being responsible for their own tasks and duties.
- Has a solid understanding in product delivery and prior experience collaborating with project departments in order to effectively deliver a product.
- Has some prior leadership experience and offering guidance to junior members and provide excellent communication across the team.
